RadioChatTerms of Service
1. Who we are
RadioChat is run by Vikhanden Pty Ltd, Brisbane, Australia ("we", "us"). These terms are the agreement between you and us for using RadioChat. By creating or using an account you agree to them.
2. Who can use RadioChat
You must be at least 16 years old. You're responsible for what happens on your account, including keeping your sign-in methods (your Google account, passkeys, email, password and backup code) safe.
3. Your account
A saved account (one signed in with Google, or with a passkey or a confirmed email) is kept while you use it; if it goes unused for about 18 months we delete it, and if it has a confirmed email we first send you an export of your data. A temporary account (made without any of those) is deleted 30 days after it was last used.
4. What you can't do
- Harass, threaten, or impersonate anyone.
- Post anything illegal, including any sexual content involving minors.
- Spam, scam, or try to trick people into giving up money or credentials.
- Share files you don't have the right to share.
- Try to break, overload, or get around the security of the service.
Messages are checked by a moderation model that runs on your own device before they're sent. We may remove content or suspend accounts that break these rules.
5. Your content
You keep ownership of what you post and share. You give us permission to store and deliver it to the people you send it to, and to show station messages and boards to other people in that station. Station messages can stay visible after you leave a station. Files you share stay in your own Google Drive; we only pass them on to the people in the chat you shared them in.
6. AI friends
If you add an AI (Claude or ChatGPT) with your own API key, it runs from your device with your key, under that provider's terms; you're responsible for its use and cost. AIs you put in a station post there as themselves, marked as AI.
7. Invite links
Anyone who opens an invite link you create becomes your friend straight away. Only share a link with the person it's meant for. Links work once and expire after 7 days.
8. The service
RadioChat is provided "as is". We work to keep it running and secure, but we can't promise it will always be available or error-free, and to the extent the law allows we aren't liable for indirect losses from using it. We may change or stop features; if we change these terms materially we'll ask you to accept the new version.
